Amy Lindsey
Director/Employment Specialist

Amy has worked in business administration, human resources and customer service in local banking and medical industries for 27 years. Prior to her decision to follow her heart and begin working to help the disabled secure fulfilling employment, Amy was the Business Office Administrator for Wentz Orthodontics. Despite the wonderful people and the Christian work environment she enjoyed at Wentz for almost 12 years, Amy felt that something was missing. Her parents had taught her to serve God by serving others. In fact, her dad was a pastor at Southcrest Baptist Church, where she became a member over 30 years ago. She, her husband and their twin sons still attend.

After her sons graduated from college and left home, Amy's desire for a career where she could serve others in a more tangible way grew stronger. In 2010, Amy began that new career as a contractor working with the Texas Workforce Commission - Vocational Rehabilitation Services (TWC). As a job advocate, she helps disabled individuals find accommodating and fulfilling employment. She is an aggressive advocate for her clients! Her business and HR experience also help businesses fill job opening with committed, qualified and enthusiastic employees, thereby saving those employers time and money. Amy is extremely successful in matching jobs and workers, because she focuses on abilities, not disabilities, and she is tenacious about finding real solutions for both the employers and their new employees.
